Getting to the fall from Pokhara’s airport

Arriving by air to Devi’s Fall means two separate steps: confirm which Pokhara airport you land at, then arrange ground transport to the waterfall pin in Chhorepatan. Onward access still has to be checked on the day.

Pokhara has two different airports

Pokhara is served by more than one airport, and the international airport is not the same place as the older city airport. The name on your ticket or booking tells you which one you will use, so read it before you plan onward transport.

Do not assume a driver already knows your arrival point. Give the exact airport name and, if possible, the terminal shown on your booking.

Arranging transport from arrivals

Ground transport is arranged at the airport itself, and the options change with the hour and the number of arriving flights. Ask what is available when you land rather than relying on an old price from a blog or a hotel sheet.

  • Tell the driver you are going to Devi’s Fall in Chhorepatan, H10, Pokhara 33700.
  • Show the pin 28.1895642, 83.9586637 or the place name Devi’s Fall Pokhara so the destination is unambiguous.
  • Agree the fare and the payment method before the vehicle moves.
  • Confirm whether the price covers luggage and waiting time.

Luggage and drop-off

If you arrive with bags, ask the driver to confirm where the vehicle can stop near the site. A map pin shows a location, not a guaranteed parking bay or an open gate, so treat the drop-off point as something to settle with the driver.

You may prefer to leave luggage at your accommodation first if you are not travelling directly.

What cannot be promised

No journey time or fare is stated here because neither has been verified. Ask at the airport counter or your accommodation for current local information.

Google Maps listed the waterfall as temporarily closed when checked on 26 October 2026. No current management confirmation of the reason, reopening date, hours or fee has been verified. Call ahead or ask locally before you commit to the trip with luggage.

FAQ

Short answers

Which airport should I tell the driver?+

Give the exact airport name and terminal from your booking, because Pokhara has more than one airport and they are different places.

Can I take a taxi straight to the fall?+

You can arrange transport to the Chhorepatan pin, but confirm access on the day. A ride to the area does not guarantee that the site is open or admitting visitors.

How long is the drive?+

No specific journey time is verified here. Traffic, your starting point and the chosen route all change it, so ask your driver for a realistic estimate.

Your data

This information site has no accounts, bookings or contact forms. Google Maps loads separately and uses Google’s own policies.

GA4 may start immediately after permission is successfully stored and verified. Cookie settings lets you withdraw; it cannot recall data already sent. Local storage records the choice; a session refusal helps keep this tab off after a storage failure. Failure feedback explains whether a stored grant may remain.

Hosting may process technical request logs and inject an independent Cloudflare performance beacon. The GA choice does not control that beacon; script presence alone does not prove a particular visit transmitted data. The service worker caches same-origin pages and resources for offline use.
